ABOUT: Retouching is in high demand. From fashion images and magazines, to professional client headshots to creative portraits, the skills you learn in this class can help you turn your images from snapshots to creative masterpieces. But re-touching is a subtle and delicate process. The best re-touching is when it looks like there is no re-touching at all. This class will show you everything you need to know to make your images look amazing with realistic results.
We’ll show you our post processing process and teach you the tools and techniques you’ll need in Photoshop and associated software products (Capture One, Luminar etc) . We will show you how to smooth skin with frequency separation , remove distractions and blemishes with the Spot Healing Brush Tool, fix exposure with the Adobe Camera RAW filter, and blend it all together with Layer Masks, Clipping Masks, and Adjustment .
These techniques have equal validity if landscapes or travel are your preferred genres, we will cover the full gamut of techniques and subjects so that all of your images have that professional, polished look that both you and your subjects will love.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND: Photographers who are looking to re-touch and post process their images to create amazing realistic finished photographic products
REQUIREMENTS/PRE-REQUISITES: Basic PC/Mac skills. PLEASE bring your laptop with Photoshop loaded and ready to go so you can follow along. Also bring some of your images and we'll re-touch them as part of the class
